Do you have kids who ask a lot of questions when reading in the Bible? I do! In fact, I think my son is a very visual learner so this book has become his favorite one right now to have me read. He loves seeing pictures in this book to help him connect dots from the Bible stories we read. It is one thing to read the stories but when you can visually connect the picture to the story it truly helps young minds understand things more fully. I feel like my son has a better understanding of not only the evidence of facts related to the Bibe but also some of the artifacts as well. Seeing the pictures of the Arc of the Covenant to looking at the size of the arc compared to football fields to even the maps. I can just see my children understanding and enjoying the history lessons on each page. (Posted on 4/28/2017)

The Bible Explorer’s Guide is a great book that helps introduce the history of Biblical times. The book has great photos of artifacts and architecture. They feature various tools and artwork along with maps of the area. Each two-page spread shows information on a particular theme. So often we try to put the Bible into the context of modern times. With this book children can get a better idea of the world Jesus lived in. The book covers Old and New Testament times. This would be a great gift to anyone who is interested in exploring the Bible times. It's also a great study tool for children who want to learn more about the Bible. I received this book for free from Zonderkidz. (Posted on 4/22/2017)

It's so much fun to sit through a book such as this one entitled, The Bible Explorer's Guide: 1,000 Amazing Facts and Photos. You can sit down with your child and go through this book and find many fascinating discoveries that you may have forgotten about or didn't even know existed. It is fun because there is not only reference to scripture but also fascinating photographs. It so much fun seeing these places and artifacts in mire recent updated drawings or pictures.

There was a picture of an actual above ground tomb with a flat rock covering it. The book goes on to explain that this is custom in Jerusalem and that Jesus was buried in one much like the one in the picture. The one he was buried in was a borrowed tomb. The man's tomb was somewhat wealthy and had even provided the spices for Jesus' burial. There is even a drawing of on of the weapons believed to have been used on Jesus leading up to the Crucifixion.

There are tons of facts that relate throughout the entire Bible from Creation all the way up to how the Bible was written. Fascinating literature and facts that are sure to interest your entire family. Great book for your family library!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own. (Posted on 4/17/2017)
