Redo Your Room is a great little book packed with quick and easy projects to decorate any girl's room. The book is laid out almost magazine-style (similar to that of Best Party Book Ever! that I reviewed previously), which makes it fun to browse and easy to find what you are looking for.

Redo Your Room is divided into 10 sections (labeled as chapters), 4 of which are tips and tricks for making your space work well for you, and 6 of which are loaded with DIY projects.

The projects have written out instructions, but do not have step-by-step photos (which I think would have made this book even better). Each project is rated on a scale of difficulty/involvement: one scissor (Quick 'N' Easy), two scissors (DIY 101), or three scissors (Craft Queen). (Most of the projects in the book are level one or two). In addition to the focal projects, there are sections labeled "Quickie Craft Alert!" or "Instant Update" with more projects and ideas to try out.

I love the style of Redo Your Room, and with the great variety of projects included you are sure to find something that will work for you. My daughter has already implemented some of the tips she found in the book, and we have several projects from Redo Your Room that we are hoping to attempt in her room.

If you are bored with your bedroom, Faithgirlz now has a book with tips to completely redo your room or if it just needs freshened up it has tons of creative ideas. With help from this book you can make your room uniquely yours without going broke and most of the changes can be done in one weekend.

I sooooo loved this book because I really, really want to redo my room. This book gave me tips on how I can get my parents to let me change my room by showing them I am a responsible. It says I can do that by cleaning my room and sorting my stuff into piles to give away, keep and throw away. I am hoping it will show them I am serious…I’m really, really hoping. It also give me tips on how to make changes without asking them to spend a lot of money, such as using scarfs for curtains and glamming up lampshades with jewels. My space is small so I was surprised to find out how I could make my space seem bigger by making it into areas for sleeping and book reading. It even taught me the right way to fold and store my clothes so they won’t get all wrinkled. I always thought changing my room was going to be easy until I read this book and now I know it’s a lot more than just changing the color. It’s a lot of work, but I think I am ready for it. Hopefully mom and dad will think I am ready for it too. Thank you so much for this book.

I loved this book not only for its creative ideas, but because of the step-by-step instructions. I was impressed because it starts out by suggesting before making any changes you ask your parents’ permission first, and then show them you are responsible enough to handle the task by going through your old things and sorting what you need to keep, toss or donate. This book is filled with motivation and planning techniques. It actually gives guidelines on how to downsize and determine what to keep. It shows how to divide your room into zones and discusses color and crafts to “glam up” from electrical cords to lamp shades. Once the clean-out is finished, then the fun starts with color and accessories!

My granddaughter has been begging her parents to let her transition from a little girl room to a more age appropriate room. I am in hopes; once she reads this book she will be able to show her parents she is ready to take responsibility.

Disclosure: I was given a copy of this Book by the publisher, ZonderKidz, Z Blog Squad for an honest review. I was not required to write a favorable review nor was I compensated for my review. The opinions in this review are my own.

I think this book is awesome for young girls and teenagers that are looking for ways to make their space unique. There are small things, maybe for girls that share a room, and larger projects for girls that have their own room. The ideas are creative and feminine, without being old-fashioned. This is a super fun book! It would be a great gift, along with a gift card to a home improvement or craft store. We all like to put our own twist on our homes. Our daughters are the same, they want to express their style in their space. This book gives them some great, affordable ideas! Check it out! (Posted on 5/19/2015)

I am one of those people who get bored so they rearrange a room or pick out a new shower curtain, paint a wall, or convince the hubby to do some big project. Yes Ladies, I got me a good one who is always doing things around the house just because he loves me! I'm spoiled! Just a week ago my husband did a quick remodel of the bathroom floor and a new shower curtain and it feels so different!

"Redo Your Room" is a book full of fun and easy ideas and even better most are very affordable! My daughter has paged through the book and wants to do several projects! So I am thinking this summer we will pick a couple projects to tackle and have some fun! The book contains so many simple ideas yet it adds so much character with a simple embellishment on any furniture or other item in a bedroom.

Thanks Zondervan for sending me this book in exchange for an honest review. I was not paid for this review and all opinions are 100% mine. (Posted on 5/8/2015)

As your children reach their teen years they will start to feel the need to express themselves. They will do this in many ways and one significant way that they want to express themselves is to redecorate "their" space which for all intent and purposes is their bedroom. The editors at Faithgirlz have put together a very helpful find Redo Your Room: 50 Bedroom DIYS You Can Do In A Weekend. They take simple things and spiff them up to look store bought but without the added cost. Much of these projects can be achieved with simple items around the house.

From little pieces of lace or fabric to dyed or paint there is a wealth of information to be found between the pages. The pictures are vibrant and come alive with hope of a brand new, fresh, cool-looking room in just a weekend. There are some really cute craft ideas and tons of suggestions on how to make this space your own. Great ideas!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review through my participation on the Z Blog Squad.

We just moved into our own house a few months ago. Now we get the fun part of decorating it and making it our "home". It is so exciting. I received the book Redo Your Room from Zondervan and even though this book is from FaithGirlz! and I only have boys, there are some really good ideas that you can turn and make it geared for a boy. My wheels are already spinning in my mind trying to think of which ideas I want to do in their rooms and how it would fit in their themes they have in mind. This book not only gives you pictures but also step by step directions to make it easy to follow. This book is great for that pre-teen/teenage girl who wants to have her own style.

I received this book for review purposes. All opinions are my own. (Posted on 5/4/2015)
