SPANISH EDITION: This book aims to ask the right questions in the light of modern methodologies and technologies and in current archaeological, historical, biblical, and theological advances. It also attempts to enter into dialogue with contemporary political and ideological groups in the Holy Land in order to explore the political and social implications of these studies, discoveries, and conclusions. The objective of biblical texts is not to indicate what happened in the story, impartially or descriptively. Rather, the purpose of these documents is to affirm divine manifestations throughout the nation’s history. This singular approach is full of affirmations of faith, theological interpretations, spiritual extrapolations, and religious understandings of its realities and its history.
