An American heiress and a crown prince seem destined to be together. Will the devastation of war keep them apart forever?

In How to Catch a Prince, Ms. Hauck invites her readers back for one final adventure in the fictional kingdom of Brighton. Prince Stephen, a well-known character in the Royal Weddings series, returns from the war in Afghanistan with state secrets and emotional scars that hamper his willingness to serve as a public figure. Part of his secret lies in America, where heiress Corina Del Rey works as a journalist after spending the last five years picking up the pieces after the death of her brother in the war. When a document emerges that sheds light on Stephen's past, he travels to America to rediscover the truth he left behind long ago. No one would suspect that Prince Stephen, the kingdom's most eligible bachelor, hides behind his rugby persona to mask an episode from his military career that tore apart his unit and any hope of love.

The novel brings together the worlds of Brighton royalty and Southern charm, offering a satisfying conclusion to the much-loved Royal Wedding series. Somewhat darker in tone than the other books, How to Catch a Prince follows Prince Stephen's journey as he discovers God's forgiveness in light of the horrors of his military past. While the previous two books focus on legal and political challenges within the kingdom, this novel’s themes center around issues of personal growth and emotional trials.

Overall, I enjoyed reading How to Catch a Prince and am happy to add it to my personal collection.

A wonderful love story about a prince (Stephen) and an heiress (Corina) but it is also a story of Christ’s love for us. Prince Stephen and Corina are secretly married and then because of a tragic event they are separated. Corina is a journalist and her boss sends her to Brighton (where Prince Stephen lives) to cover a movie premiere. Corina still loves Stephen and believes that God is telling her to go and try to save her marriage. “Love well” is the message that flows throughout this story. It not only applies to their romance but to our own personal lives. If we let God be the master and allow us to be His servants He can do great things. I would highly recommend this book. When I picked up the first book of the Royal Wedding Series, I expected a nice, fluffy novel. I was surprised by the spiritual depth to the story. The third book in the series continues that!

It's a great romance story, but even more, it's the story of broken people who look to God to heal them. I loved reading about Corrina and Stephen as a couple, but even more reading about how God worked in their lives. At one point, the story actually brought me to tears!

This is great for anyone who loves a good contemporary romance, or royal story. And readers who look for something a bit deeper than just a good story will not be disappointed either!

Note: I received an ARC of this book in exchange for my honest review. (Posted on 2/23/2015)

In “Once Upon A Prince”, we were introduced to the first Royal couple in Rachel Hauck’s amazing Royal Weddings series!

That story continued in “A March Bride” – a wonderful novella in the Year of Weddings series.

“Princess Ever After” introduced us to the second Royal couple in a very unconventional fairy tale and since then, we’ve waited anxiously for the next installment!

And it’s finally here!

I’ll be honest with you. This review started very differently a week ago, when I was setting up my post in preparation for writing the review… before I had read the book.

And now that I have read the book, I find that I must start fresh – because the words I had planned do not even begin to do justice to this sensational story.

I will, however leave the words “You DON’T want to miss even one book in this terrific series!” because you DON’T! Each story is better than the last and How To Catch A Prince is… by far and away… the very BEST!

In the dedication at the very back of the book, Rachel makes a point of thanking so many people for helping her in her time of trial… she basically says she doesn’t know how she managed to write this book at all and she outlines for her beloved fans a bit of what she was going through at that dark time in her life.

I for one, am grateful.

I really think, when reading this book, that it was not Rachel who was writing out these touching words – it was God!

And while I feel for the difficult journey that Rachel went through… I am so very glad that she pushed herself to continue because I believe with every ounce of my being that God penned a very deep and meaningful message through her fingers.

Sometimes you just have to be completely broken – so that God can lift you up and make you whole again.

Perhaps Rachel could never have written so powerfully about Prince Stephen’s struggles if she had not been dealing with her own.

Perhaps Rachel could not have properly communicated Corina’s heartache if she had not felt the wrench in her own life.

Who knows…

Well, God knows!

And I thank God from the bottom of my heart for this beautiful story and I feel so very blessed to be able to do any tiny little thing to help get this book into the hands of even one more person.

So please, read this book. Please do not miss this exceptional story of loss, love and God’s healing power! You won’t regret it… unless you never read it, that is!
