This updated version of God Made You Nose to Toes is a wonderful improvement on the original. The artwork is much more appealing and the padded board book feels nice in your hands. This would make a delightful gift for a new mom or a toddler's birthday.

In rhyming text the author takes you through each part of the body and points out great reasons why God chose to give you the features that He did. I can imagine lots of cuddles and tickles as you read this book to your little one.

If you are looking for another way to solidify to your little one that they are loved by you and especially by God this book would be a great addition to your personal library.

I received a copy of this book to facilitate my review. (Posted on 4/25/2017)

God Made You Nose to Toes is a cute book about the body and how God made each part to do what it does. It is a board book, written in rhyme.

The little boy and the toucan on the cover of God Made You Nose to Toes are depicted on each page opening. The body parts referenced are: nose, hand, knees, eyes, ear, mouth, teeth, hairs, head, & big toe. The illustrations are big and colorful, and my little guy loves to look at them. I like to have him pick out where the toucan is on each page.

I love that God Made You Nose to Toes focuses on how God made each part of us to be useful. It is a fun, easy book to read with your little one.

Book Look Bloggers sent me God Made You Nose to Toes in return for my honest review. I love the cheerful illustrations and the message about God creating different body parts, from head to toe. The rhyme pattern adds to the charm of the book. The entire book is both high-quality and adorable at the same time. Plus, the book looks really cute setting on my son’s dresser. (Posted on 1/8/2017)

“God Made You Nose to Toes” was sent to me by Zonderkidz- a division of Zondervan Publishing – free of charge, in exchange for my honest review.
“God Made You Nose to Toes” is a children’s fiction picture book, written by Leslie Parrot. The, oh so cute, illustrations were done by Estelle Corke.
This is a board book, and so can be left to little hands. The bright, colorful pictures will also keep them enthralled.
“God Made You Nose to Toes picks out different parts of the little one – nose, toes, teeth, eyes, even hair, and tells how God made that part, too. Then, of course, the author puts it all together, telling how God loves you so much that He made all of you.
I recommend this to young readers, those who read to them, and tiny tots who just love to look at pretty pictures.
Start them early and give them a love for books!

God Made You Nose to Toes is a delightful book created to teach children how God made them. I like this book because the author makes it fun as she highlights the parts of the body children learn about at a young age. I think kids will like the toucan who shows up on each page and the humor sprinkled throughout the book. The illustrations are fun and colorful, too. This is a great tool to teach children how much God loves them. (Posted on 1/2/2017)

Follow a traceable toucan across each page of the board book “God Made You Nose to Toes” by Leslie Parrott and illustrated by Estelle Corke, and teach little ones that God made each part of them.
Sunny images attract the eyes and hands of babies as they reach out to touch the pink flowers and Toucan’s orange nose.
On each page babies and toddlers learn about a different body part and what they can do with it—God gave them hands and eyes and even knees.
Each spread only has four lines (with a rhyme!), but kids will want to linger on the pages to digest the vibrant scene before turning to the next one.
A satisfying book that teaches little ones that their abilities to laugh and smell and climb all come from God.
The publisher has provided me with a complimentary copy of this book through BookSneeze®. I was not required to write a positive review.

Precious little ones and all their discoveries. You will be able to teach them about all the curiosities they have about their own physical appearance and point them in the direction of the creator. God's greatest blessings are His children. He gave us so much to love and appreciate and His hope is that we grow closer to Him with each passing day.

This is something we can teach our children by doing the little things such as telling them who created them as well as the world around them. This is a great board book that does just that. It is so sweet and I absolutely love the illustrations, too!

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own. (Posted on 12/29/2016)

This time of year we tend to make, "New Year's Resolutions", so today I'd like to suggest a "resolution" for you . . . encourage your grandchildren to read. I love books and believe in the great value in cultivating a love for reading in our grandchildren. My son posted a photo on Facebook yesterday of the seven books he found in his eight-year old son's bed (my grandson) . . . there were novels, comic books, a science project book and Lord of the Rings . . . yes, Lord of the Rings! He is on page 70 and he is eight years old!

My sweet Josiah loves to read and I do believe one reason for this is because his parents and grandparents made a point to read to him since he was just a very little baby! We read to him and read to his brothers as well - there is great value in doing this. My sweet Caleb (five years old) is beginning to read . . . he is quite enjoying being able to put letters together to make words and sweet Shane (three years old) loves it when he learns a new letter!

Since I love books and reading, I'm always happy when I'm invited to read and review a new book. Recently Zonderkidz invited me to review God Made You Nose to Toes . . . I love the title and thought it sounded like a fun book for little ones, so today I'm very happy to share it with you.

Encourages understand God's amazing creation which gave them all the parts of their bodies and shows how much God loves them!
Zonderkidz says; "Help little ones understand God created each part of their bodies, so they can enjoy life and everything in it. In this delightful padded cover board book by well-known author and family therapist Leslie Parrott, children will be able to follow along with Toucan––with a great big nose––as he helps them learn God loves each one of them completely."

I found God Made You Nose to Toes to be a fun book - little ones will enjoy finding their own eyes, noses, toes, fingers and more as they hear how God created each of these to show His love for them. I especially love the parts which say; "When God made the ostrich, the monkey, and giraffe, He knew that you'd need a good mouth just to laugh . . . So many ways God shows that He cares. Did you know that He counts each one of your hairs?" A fun book for sure! (Posted on 12/26/2016)

Here is another board book for younger children. I always try to teach my children that they were made on purpose, for a purpose, and with a purpose! This book is a good introduction to teaching children that God made every part of them and then you can discuss the importance of how we are made in God's image! My kids had some giggles when it talked about the animals God made so we can laugh! (Posted on 12/19/2016)

From The Back Of The Book:
Help little ones understand that God created each part of their bodies so they can enjoy life and everything in it. In this delightful book by well-known author and family therapist Leslie Parrott, little ones can follow along with Toucan—with his great big nose—as he helps them learn God loves each one of them completely.

My Thoughts:
What a great little book to teach your child (age five and under) about why God made each part of your body and what it can enjoy in life. It also teaches about the things that God made in the universe that we can enjoy with the functions of our body that he gave us, such as smelling with our nose all the things God created that grows and seeing with our eyes the sky, planets and stars, not to mention fingers that can dig in the earth and sand. All in all, God not only created us from Nose to Toes, but also the things in life we enjoy!

The book is bright yellow and beautifully illustrated on the cover and inside. The pictures will have your child spending time just turning the pages looking at the beautiful illustrations. It is a board book which makes it easy for your youngster to turn the pages and also to wipe off sticky handprints. This would make an excellent gift!
