Angels in the Bible for Little Ones is a padded hardcover board book.

There are a lot of board books for little ones with Bible stories in them, but what I enjoy about Angels in the Bible for Little Ones is that all of the stories highlight the angels that are present. Each of the stories covers 4 board book pages, with a total of 8 stories in the book.

The stories included are:
- Abraham and the Three Visitors
- Food for Elijah
- Daniel and the Lions
- A Surprise Visitor (Mary being told about her pregnancy)
- Voices Like Thunder (The birth of Jesus)
- Jesus, the Children, and the Angels
- The Best Message Ever (The empty tomb / Jesus is alive)
- A Place Filled with Angels (John being told about heaven)

The illustrations are pretty - a unique style for a book aimed at toddlers. I appreciated the artwork, but little ones may not appreciate it as much as an adult might.

As with most Bible stories adapted for children, prepare to have little flourishes added in to make it more story-like. If you are just looking for by-the-verse factual re-tellings, this probably isn't the book for you.

All in all, I think Angels in the Bible for Little Ones has a unique approach and is a good choice for a storybook for little ones.

I’ll often tell my children that they have a Guardian Angel watching out for them, especially when they’ve done something that should have rendered them injured. This has made them curious to know more about Angels. “Angels in the Bible for Little Ones” is a great introduction for little ones who are just beginning to explore their faith and want to know more about Angels and what they do.

“Angels in the Bible for Little Ones” by Allia Zobel Nolan is a board book for children that introduces them to the Angels we read about in the Bible. The book covers both the Old and New Testaments, retelling stories of how Angels interacted with Elijah, Daniel, Mary and many others.

The illustrations are beautiful created by Alisa Massari. The colours are rich and each image has a comforting feeling. I love how the author shows the emotion in the faces of each being illustrated. While we don’t know exactly what an angel looks like, I like how the author depicts them in a way that is familiar to what my children are accustomed to seeing. The pages are sturdy cardboard, perfect for little hands to hold.

Each story is short, covering about 4 pages. Read one story at a time or the whole book. Each story shares a scripture reference so that you explore each story in more depth. The stories in “Angels in the Bible for Little Ones” are told so that even the littlest child can understand. They read wonderfully out loud making them perfect for sharing at bedtime or Sunday School.

“Angels in the Bible for Little Ones” shares the stories of the Angels in the Bible, sharing their messages of love from God. I love how the first story of “Abraham and the Three Visitors” tells us that while the three visitors looked like men, they were really Angels. This story is a great time to talk to your children about the Angels we may encounter in our own lives.

“Angels in the Bible for Little Ones” is a wonderful introduction to the Angels that we read about in the Bible.

I believe that angels are usually some of the first connections that little ones make with their being something other than themselves in this big old world. In the Bible, angels are mentioned several times. They are God's servants there to do whatever He commands and this is shown throughout the Bible.

Now little ones can learn a little more about these fascinating creatures in Allia Zobel Nolan's book entitled, Angels In the Bible for Little Ones. In this padded board book each of the parts of the Bible that features angels is detailed and it is written in simple words for them to understand. A sweet little book for a young child just being born or a preschooler thats curious.

My favorite part of the book was the angel that told the Mary's that Jesus was no longer in the tomb. This is the perfect story for this time of year because we are about to celebrate the resurrection.

Perfect for ages 4-8.

**Disclosure** This book was sent to me free of charge for my honest review from the author. All opinions are my own. (Posted on 2/27/2017)

This board book is one that will please the younger ones as much as the older ones. Kids of all ages like to understand the uniqueness of Angels. When we look inside our Bibles we will find several stories where Angels help us or delivered a message. This board book covers eight of my favorite biblical stories such as Mary and Daniel! The pictures are also very pleasing to the eyes and help kids vision the stories more clearly. (Posted on 2/22/2017)

Angels in the Bible for Little Ones is a lovely little book that introduces the Biblical concept of angels to children. I like how the author uses scriptural stories to draw word pictures of the angels who spoke to people like Abraham and the women at Jesus' tomb. She stays close to the Bible in her stories and gives the child an easy to understand message. Alida Massari's illustrations are colorful and inviting to little eyes. Even though this is a board book, it could be used in a teaching situation to tell children about God's messengers. This would be a great book to share at Easter, as well. (Posted on 2/16/2017)
