Just for your information, the NKJV MOSTLY uses the Received Text. However, it does deviate from the Received Text to the less reliable Alexandrian Text a little over 3,000 times. Best to stick with the tried and true KJV. (Posted on 1/14/2014)

This Study Bible does for me what I had hopes the NIV Study Bible would do. That was before I learned the source texts of the NIV (Alexandrian/Gnostic). The NKJV has numerous study aids that will keep the daily reader digging deeper into the text.
The only "gripe" I have with the NKJV is not in the version itself but in the few cover designs that are available. Why is that? Certainly the Thomas Nelson marketing team have considered this. The covers that are presently out there are downright ugly. Sorry. They just are. (Posted on 7/24/2012)
